Receipt book, kept first by Henderson (1790-1794) in New York and Portsmouth, taken over by his widow, Hannah (Sheafe) Henderson (later Hart) following his death, and then (1803-1806), kept by her second husband, William Hart, a local mathematician and instrument maker; loose receipts; and records relating to Henderson's estate, as administered by his widow, including various debts as well as shares in a bridge over the Piscataqua River.
